1.Preparation & Positioning:Softening nails makes for cleaner cuts.
• Best Time: Trim after a warm shower or bath when fingernails are softer and less prone to splintering.
• Grip: Place your thumb on the wide, ergonomic die-cast lever and rest your index/middle fingers underneath the base for balance and control.
2.Clipping the Nails:Avoid cutting too close to the nail bed.
• Align the curved stainless steel jaws with the edge of your nail.
• Make small, sequential cuts along the natural curve of the nail rather than trying to cut the entire nail in a single squeeze.
• Leave a small margin of white nail edge to protect the sensitive quick underneath.
3.Shaping & Smoothing:Use the integrated file on the lever.
• Locate the built-in textured nail file on the top surface of the lever arm.
• Gently file in one direction across the cut edges to smooth out any sharp corners or rough spots.
