1. Prep Your Lips: 1-2 min.
Start with completely clean, dry lips. Exfoliate gently first to remove any flaky skin, and wipe away any existing lip balms or oils. If your lips are wet or oily, the tattoo won't stick evenly!
2. Apply a Generous Layer: 2 min.
Using the applicator, glide a thick, even layer of the black formula across your lips. Make sure to stay within your natural lip line. Don't go too thin, or it will be difficult to peel off in one piece later.
3. Let It Set and Dry: 10-15 min.
Relax and let the formula dry completely. It usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Try not to press your lips together or move them too much while it sets so the layer doesn't smudge.
4. Peel to Reveal!: 1 min.
Once it feels fully dry and slightly tight, find an edge near the corner of your mouth. Gently peel the black film away from your lips to uncover the vibrant stain underneath.
5. Lock It In: 30 seconds.
Finish the look by applying a layer of clear lip gloss or a hydrating lip balm. This locks in the color, adds a gorgeous dewy shine, and keeps your lips feeling incredibly soft.
Pro Tip: If any tiny bits of the black mask are left behind after peeling, don't scrub your lips! Just take a damp cotton pad or tissue and gently wipe them away.
