The Dr. Melaxin Peel Shot Exfoliating TX-Spray is a body exfoliating spray containing chemical exfoliants (AHA/PHA) and brightening actives (Tranexamic Acid and Niacinamide). It is designed for target body areas like the back, underarms, elbows, knees, and feet.
1. Prep with Dry Skin:Do not wet skin before applying.
Start with completely clean, dry skin before shower or cleansing. Shake the spray bottle well prior to use.
2. Spray Target Areas:Avoid face, sensitive mucous membranes, or freshly shaved skin.
Spray a moderate amount directly onto concerned areas (e.g., back, arms, chest, knees, elbows, or feet) from a short distance.
3. Gently Massage:Rub gently to release dead skin and build-up.
Gently massage the sprayed area in circular motions using your hands. As you rub, the gommage-style formula will pill and form small particles to catch dead skin cells.
4. Rinse Thoroughly:Use lukewarm water.
Rinse the area thoroughly with lukewarm water until all exfoliated residue and pilled product are completely washed away. Pat dry.
Usage Frequency & Important Tips
• Frequency: Start by using 1 to 2 times per week. If your skin tolerates it well without dryness or irritation, you can build up to 2 to 3 times per week.
• Moisturize & Protect: Follow up with a soothing body lotion or barrier cream. Apply daily sunscreen on any sun-exposed areas where you used the product, as AHA exfoliants can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.
• Precautions: Do not apply on face, eyes, open wounds, broken skin, or immediately after shaving or waxing.
