I got these to try because they were a good deal. But that is the best thing I can say about the files. I began using a file and before I could finish filing just 5 of my nails, the rough finish wore away and it was down to smooth glass underneath. By the time I finished filing my second hand, I couldn't find a useable spot on the nail file any longer. I washed it and still lots of smooth glass spots on the file. Old fashioned cardboard files worked longer than these do, unfortunately.
