The 4-Step Guide
1. Prep Your Skin: Apply fragrance after a shower to clean, warm skin. For best results, first apply an unscented moisturizer or lotion to the areas you'll be spraying. Fragrance lasts much longer on hydrated skin.
2. Target Pulse Points: These are the spots on your body where blood vessels are closest to the skin, creating extra heat that helps diffuse the scent.
Primary Spots: Wrists, the base and sides of the neck, and behind the ears.
Secondary Spots: Inner elbows, behind the knees.
3. Spray Smart (Less is More): Hold the bottle 4 to 6 inches away from your skin. For an eau de parfum, 2 to 4 sprays total is all you need for a full day of wear.
Example: One spray on your neck and one on your wrists.
4. Don't Rub, Just Dab: After spraying, do not rub your wrists together. This is the most common mistake. Rubbing breaks down the top notes of the perfume, dulls the scent, and makes it fade faster. If you must, gently dab your wrists together.
